NANDC Alley Cleans Up

As part of Clean Streets LA, NANDC recently took part in several separate alley clean-ups. Over three days this summer, NANDC board members and volunteers pitched in to remove litter, abandoned waste and bulky items from three of the most polluted alleys in the neighborhood:

1. May 20: parallel to S. 37th Place and 37th Dr. between Normandie Ave and S. Catalina St.
2. June 10: parallel to Arlington St. and Cimarron St. between Jefferson and W. 37th Pl.
3. June 24: parallel to S. Western Ave and S. Harvard Blvd between 27th and Jefferson Blvd.

As you can see from the photos above, team members worked hard to fill dozens of trash bags with litter, transforming these alleys into the clean passageway the community deserves!
