Youth Committee

Are you interested in empowering youth in the NANDC area? Are you a youth in the NANDC area and want to do something for your peers?
The Youth Committee invites you to our monthly meetings:

    When: Every 3rd Saturday of the Month
    Where: Mack Elementary
    Time: Right after the NANDC Townhall Meeting (~12pm)
During these meetings we discuss upcoming Youth events/projects and ways we can empower our Youth.

Mission

NANDC youth shall seek ways to involve youth in the life of the Neighborhood Council as well as to help youth become more engaged in activities that will promote a safe community environment. The committee shall provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to voice their concerns and encourage youth to promote school assistance, health, leadership skills, volunteer opportunities, job preparedness, a voice to your community. The committee shall provide a conduit between the youth of the community and the Board regarding youth views and issues of concern.
